Eco-Enterprise & Sustainable Livelihoods – DG Rural Development Society

DG Rural Development Society will launch the Eco-Enterprise & Sustainable Livelihoods initiative to support rural communities in building businesses that are environmentally friendly, economically viable, and socially responsible. Our focus will be on encouraging green industries such as organic farming, renewable energy, eco-tourism, natural handicrafts, and waste recycling ventures.

We will provide training in sustainable production techniques, product development, branding, and market strategies, enabling entrepreneurs to meet growing consumer demand for eco-friendly products. Communities will be connected to fair trade networks, digital marketplaces, and eco-conscious buyers both in India and abroad.

The program will also promote resource efficiency and circular economy principles, helping rural enterprises minimize waste, reuse materials, and reduce their environmental footprint. By linking livelihood creation with environmental stewardship, we will ensure that economic growth does not come at the cost of nature.

Through this initiative, DG Rural Development Society will empower rural entrepreneurs, create long-term green jobs, and position villages as leaders in sustainable business innovation.
